Welcome to Northbank Surgical Center! The staff thanks you and your physician for choosing us for your outpatient surgical procedure.
We have been providing excellent outpatient surgical care for over 94,000 patients in the Salem and surrounding areas since 1984. We are located at the end of a cul-de-sac on Bellevue St. SE next to the SAIF building.

WHY CHOOSE TO HAVE YOUR SURGERY IN AN AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER (ASC)?ASC's are able to provide high quality surgery at a lower cost than hospitals. According to Medicare data, patients who have their surgery in an ASC pay an average 41% less than patients having the same surgery in a hospital. This savings results in less out-of-pocket expense to our patients. This can make a necessary or elective surgery much more affordable during these difficult economic times.

MEET OUR MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. John "Rocky" Johnson, our Medical Director, is a board-certified anesthesiologist with over 20 years of experience. As an Oregon native, he attended the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) followed by the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where he earned his medical degree and completed his anesthesiology residency.
He has been with Northbank since 1989 and has set the tone for high quality and safety of anesthesia for our patients. Dr. Johnson, along with the entire staff at Northbank Surgical Center would like to welcome you to our facility.
